Selkirk Lighthouse & Marina

Project Description: This project involves the construction of a new appoximately 8,100 sq. ft. lodging facility adjacent to the historic Selkirk Lighthouse located on approximately 4.3 acres at 812-28 County Route 5 in the Town of Richland. The facility will include six 1-& 2-bedroom short-term rental units and a large event space. In addition, a take-out food facility will be developed in the existing marina building to serve overnight guests, marina patrons and other visitors. A recently constructed waterfront pavilion will also be improved. The project will create 1 full-time seasonal job and 6 part-time seasonal jobs as well as help to retain the 2 full-time year-round jobs at the facility. Future total annual payroll of approximately $150,000 is anticipated.
